President's Design Award 2011

The result for the annual award, which is the highest accolade conferred to an individual or organisation in the field of design in Singapore, was announced on 10 November.

Two individuals and 10 designs have been conferred the respective awards this year. The two Designer of the Year recipients are Chan Sau Yan Sonny of Chan Sau Yan Associates and Tang Guan Bee of Tangguanbee Architects.

The main exhibition of the President’s Design Award 2011 will be held at ION Orchard from 12 November to 27 November 2011.  Following that, the exhibition will travel to the URA Centre and exhibit from 1 December 2011 to 10 February 2012.  A specially-curated exhibition will also be presented as part of the SPACE Asia Hub’s opening programme from 12 November to 11 December 2011.

wow.. i guess its like a fairy tale story
where a new small company standing shoulder to shoulder with the likes of dyson and Bmw..
thats the power of design..
